The Lord is so gracious to us. We have been on tour for almost three months. We are pretty tired. The pick-up has carried us over fourteen thousand miles in those three months, with about four thousand to go before we get back to Nampa.
By God's gracious enabling we have presented His Word about sixty times in over twenty churches, a men's retreat and a Christian School. We have ministered in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. We've stood on the Atlantic shore and traversed the beautiful mountains of Western Maryland and West Virginia. We've watched winter become spring and seen the awakening of the Earth from its long cold slumber. Everything is green again and the corn is sprouting. A couple of Robins have brought off a clutch of chicks right outside our motor home window and Iowa's kind of pretty this time of year.
We're about to head West, Lord willing, and a wedding awaits us when we get there. Resurrection Sunday is long gone but its declaration of hope remains. Christ will bring us up from our graves, just as He was raised to the glory of the Father, and we shall spend eternity with Him. Alive, though once dead, forever. One can drive many a mile with that hope before us. We have met many new friends and renewed many acquaintances. It has been so good to see our friends and share God's wonderful Word among you. Many have been challenged to walk more closely with Jesus and to spend themselves on behalf of the least in the world.
The Word of God has washed us with its hearing. We are humbled and renewed. The Church of Jesus Christ is more precious in our hearts and we long to see her built up and displaying the Faith and Love that are in Christ Jesus to the Glory of the Father.
